Michael Adesanya sought to re-ignite healthy competition amongst students in Ogun State by organising an annual STEM conference, featuring exciting quiz contests and prizes. Thus, we created and executed two successful editions.
Our Process
We worked through a series of actionable steps to ensure the project was efficiently carried out and delivered promptly.

Stakeholder interviews & research

06
Public relations and reporting
Michael Adesanya excelled as a secondary school student, representing the Mayflower School, Ikenne and Ogun State at various state and national academic contests. Decades later, he returned to the community with a mission to reignite healthy competition amongst secondary school students and empower them to succeed in life beyond the four walls.
Our team worked with Michael to develop exciting ideas for, plan and execute the Adewale Students’ Conference (ASC), reaching over 2,000 students within the first two years.
We engaged stakeholders from the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and teachers to ensure they understood the vision, programme content and direction and would align to support successful project execution.
For the second edition, zonal finals were held across Ogun State, involving more than 200 schools and 300 participants. 40 schools then qualified from the zonal finals and competed at the grand finale in September 2022 at the Adewale Students’ Conference.
We created awareness for the events via traditional and online media platforms. Our team also designed and produced marketing communications materials, including documentaries, and promotional items for the events. We also developed and executed media/public relations strategies and plans to create awareness and engagement amongst the target audience.
Results
Successfully planned and executed two editions of the ASC in 2021 and 2022, with more than 1,000 attendees from across all the local government areas in Ogun State
