● Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients in line with the agency’s expertise and service offerings. Develop and execute effective outreach strategies to acquire new clients.
● Lead Generation: Research and identify leads through market analysis, networking, and industry research. Qualifying and prioritizing leads to focus efforts on high-value opportunities.
● Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
● Proposal Development: Collaborate with the creative and strategy teams to develop tailored proposals, presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate our capabilities and solutions to prospective clients.
● Market Analysis: Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and threats. Provide insights to guide agency strategy.
● Networking and Partnerships: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand our agency’s presence and develop strategic partnerships.
● Revenue Growth: Set ambitious revenue targets and develop strategies to achieve them. Track and report on progress toward sales goals.
● Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and adherence to agency policies.
● Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline in CRM systems.
● Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance and support to a Business Development Analyst, fostering their growth within the agency.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
● Proven track record of successful business development and sales growth in a marketing communication agency, related industry and/or the Development sector.
● Strong understanding of marketing communication services and digital marketing trends.
● Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
● At least 4-5 years of job related experience.
● Certifications in business management or related fields.
● Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
● Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
● Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
● A network of industry contacts and relationships is highly desirable.
● Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential.
