Job Title: Content Specialist – Agric Projects

Key Responsibilities:

Job Overview: As an Agronomist specializing in Agricultural Communications, you will leverage your profound understanding of agronomy to create innovative concepts and ideas for agricultural content programmes and effectively communicate agricultural knowledge to diverse audiences. Your role will encompass research, content development and strategic planning of agricultural communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Agricultural Content Concept Development: Ideate, develop, and conceptualize innovative ideas for agricultural content programmes and exhibitions that showcase agronomy, sustainable practices, and the latest agricultural technologies.

Content Development: Create engaging and informative content, such as articles, reports, presentations, and multimedia materials, to communicate complex agronomic concepts and research findings to various stakeholders.

Audience Analysis: Understand the specific needs and preferences of target audiences, including farmers, agricultural organizations, policymakers, and the general public, to tailor communication strategies effectively.

Agronomic Education: Develop educational resources and materials that simplify agronomy, best practices, and cutting-edge agricultural technologies for diverse audiences.

Technical Writing: Produce accurate and comprehensible technical documents, including research reports, whitepapers, and manuals, making intricate agronomic topics accessible.

Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest agricultural trends, innovations, and research to ensure content and show concepts remain relevant and informative.

Communication Strategy: Contribute to the development of communication strategies and campaigns that promote agricultural best practices, sustainability, and advancements.

Multichannel Communication: Utilize various communication channels, including social media, websites, newsletters, and webinars, to disseminate agronomic information effectively.

Collaboration: Work closely with agronomists, scientists, and communication professionals to create comprehensive and impactful content and show concepts.

Public Speaking: Present agronomic information at conferences, seminars, workshops, and other events to engage and educate diverse audiences.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with agricultural organizations, government agencies, and clients to tailor agronomic communication strategies to their specific objectives.

Content Promotion: Develop and execute plans for the promotion and distribution of agronomic content and show concepts to reach a wide audience.

Research: Conduct agronomic research and provide guidance on effective communication strategies and translating research findings into actionable insights.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field
2 - 5 years of work experience in agronomy
Excellent understanding of agricultural best practices and technologies
Strong research and analytical skills to stay informed about industry trends and to support agronomic research
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong ideation skills and ability to develop creative concepts for agricultural content programmes/initiatives
Proficiency in using various media and communication tools
Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies is desirable
Public speaking and presentation skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Adaptability to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
