Brief Summary
By June 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic had significantly limited the client’s agricultural extension team’s access to, and effective communication with, smallholder farmers across the country. People could not gather in large groups.

To address this challenge sustainably, the client sought to develop a media programme.

We developed a robust integrated communications plan and created the Farm&Fortune TV Show. The Farm&Fortune brand was later adopted by the client for all its farmer-centric projects in Nigeria.

After a series of meetings with stakeholders to determine the project scope and direction, our team of creative and marketing professionals brainstormed ideas and created an identity for the TV show.
This involved extensive desk research, stakeholder interviews and competitive analysis to identify the most important issues to be addressed within the agricultural value chain. We also explored viable options for developing the TV show concept and collaborated with the client team to define the content direction.
Results
We delivered the Farm&Fortune brand bible within a month after the project was commissioned. The brand name was later adopted by the client for all its farmer-centric projects in Nigeria.
